Run workplace drug screening without the clinic trip. LabX delivers an observed, lab-supervised 10-panel collection your employee completes from home via TeleTest — $85 for a 10-panel, $105 for a 14-panel, results in 24–48 hours, with definitive LC-MS/MS confirmation on any non-negative result.
Why employers test
Drug use follows people to work — and the numbers are climbing.
Sources: Quest Diagnostics 2025 Drug Testing Index and SAMHSA 2024 National Survey on Drug Use and Health. Figures describe national testing and survey populations, not LabX-specific results — but they make the case for post-accident and reasonable-suspicion testing, not just a box checked at hire.
What's included
Observed collection
A trained observer guides and monitors the supervised collection by video — from home, via LabX TeleTest.

Definitive confirmation on any non-negative result when confirmations are enabled.
24–48h results
Reported to a secure employer portal once the specimen reaches the lab.
Kit inventory
Prepaid or pay-as-you-go kits, tracked automatically in your employer account.

Two ways to run it
TeleTest — ship to a remote employee
Perfect for remote or distributed teams. We drop-ship a supervised TeleTest 10- or 14-panel kit straight to your employee’s address — the kit price plus $8 shipping, charged to your card on file. Nothing comes out of your in-stock inventory.
In-stock inventory
Keep kits on hand at your business. Your first purchase is a Starter kit that seeds 5 kits; after that you reorder a minimum of 5 at a time, shipped to you and prepaid. A screen drawn from inventory is $0 at order time, and any unexpected presumptive-positive is confirmed by the lab at +$25 per positive.
How much you save
LabX is $85 all-in for an observed 10-panel screen — collection, result, and secure reporting, with optional confirmation. Here is how that compares with what national labs publicly list for a self-ordered or workplace screen:
| 10-panel drug screen | Typical price |
|---|---|
| LabX — observed at-home, all-in | $85 |
| Labcorp OnDemand — self-order (6-panel $109 / 11-panel $169) | $109–$169 |
| LabCorp 10-panel (typical published range) | $100–$150 |
| National occupational providers — plus collection-site & MRO fees | +$5–$15+ |
On top of the base price, most national providers add a collection-site visit and, for workplace testing, Medical Review Officer fees. LabX bundles observed remote collection into the $85 — no separate site trip — with 24–48h results and optional $25 per positive LC-MS/MS confirmation.
Comparison figures are publicly listed self-order / retail prices as of early 2026 (Labcorp OnDemand list prices; published LabCorp 10-panel ranges) and vary by location, contract, panel and any volume agreement. Shown for general comparison — not a guarantee of savings in every case.
Compliance & accuracy
Screening flags whether a drug class may be present; definitive LC-MS/MS confirmation then identifies and quantifies the specific substance — so a non-negative result is verified, not assumed. Observed collection supports specimen validity and chain of custody. The laboratory reports accurate, defensible results; how those results are used in employment decisions, and any determination of fitness for duty, rests with the employer and its own policies and advisors.
